Cancellation Policy

Cancelations must be received more than 14 days before arrival with peak holiday periods requiring a minimum of 21 days notice. cancellations not received within the above times will result in a forfeit of your deposit.

We may consider a change of booking for cancellations if notification is received 21 days prior the original date. All changes in booking are subject to availability and any price increases that may have occured between the time of original booking and the new booking date.

There is no refund for early or unscheduled departure under any circumstances. Should you make a booking and not arrive on the day you will be charged 100% of your booking tariff, regardless of what deposit you have already paid. The charge will automatically be charged to your credit card and a copy of the tax invoice will be emailed to you.

Booking conditions

  1. All guests booking acomodation at Albany Waves must be over 21 years old, hold a valid credit card, take up occupancy of the property for the entire duration of the stay and agree to the terms and conditions of occupancy. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions the Guest accepts all responsibility for themselves and other occupants of the premises. Should these conditions not be met then Albany Waves reserve the right to refuse to accept your booking at any stage.

  2. The deposit required to secure your booking is equal to the price of one night’s stay with the balanced required to be paid in full two weeks prior to arrival. If the booking dates are made less than two weeks prior to arrival full payment will be required. Please note: Payment of your deposit is considered your acceptance of the Booking Terms and Conditions. Our minimum booking requirement is 2 nights with the following exceptions:

    Long weekends – 3 night minimum
    Easter – 4 night minimum
    Christmas Holidays – 5 night minimum

    Albany Waves accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and China Union Credit Cards.

Details of your booking with these Terms and Conditions will be sent to you for your confirmation.

Your booking is not considered confirmed until you have received email notification from Albany Waves.

Bond ($1000.00)

A valid credit card is required prior to occupancy. Please phone through your credit card number to 0437 371 565 or email info@albanywaves.com.au with your booking as reference number. Payment will only be deducted if damages are found and extra cleaning is required.

Guests are responsible for the house and contents for the duration of their stay. Broken, damaged or lost goods will be replaced at your expense and it is much more pleasant to arrange this with you, rather than just charge you so please notify us if you break, damage or lose any items in the property.

The property should be left in a similar state to its condition upon arrival. Please wash, dry and put away your dishes including those used in the dishwasher. The barbecue equipment should be cleaned. It is acceptable to leave rubbish in the rubbish bins, but any rubbish that does not fit into the bins provided should be removed.

Any cleaning time over and above what is regularly undertaken to clean the accommodation will incur an excess cleaning fee.

We ask that spray tans, dyes for ceremonies, hair dyes or face painting must not be performed at any of the properties.

Arrival/departure

Check in: 2:00pm*

Check out: 10:00am*

An early check in / late check out may be arranged depending on the extra time requested and our availability. Unauthorised late checkouts may attract a fee.


Number of guests

The accommodation can only be occupied by the number of persons stated on the booking confirmation form. Albany Waves reserves the right to refuse occupancy of the property if this condition is not observed.

Enjoying your stay

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure your privacy, please appreciate there are others close by to the common areas and your apartment.

Visitors are welcome however to ensure the comfort of others, we request that your visitors vacate the premises by 11.00pm.

Excessive noise levels will not be tolerated and Management reserves the right to ask you to leave the premises without refund if you or your guests disrupt the enjoyment of other guests.

* Definition of Noise: If other people can hear your Music, TV and/or Voices from outside your beach house after 11.00pm, then it is Noise.

Guests Property

Albany Waves takes no responsibility for personal belongings, baggage, vehicles and other property of any description of the guest throughout the duration of your stay nor for items left on the premises after you have vacated.

Pets

Sorry, pets are not permitted.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the houses or on balconies.

If you smoke outside please dispose of cigarette butts thoughtfully.

Right to Revoke or Refuse Bookings

Albany Waves reserve the right to revoke or refuse to honour any booking, at any time before or during the rental period, which may be, in their opinion, unsuitable for the property.

Albany Waves has a strict “No Party” policy, and as such reserves the right to refuse bookings for ‘Schoolies’, Hens and Bucks parties or similar.

Failure to comply with any of the above Terms and Conditions, may result in the immediate cancellation of your booking without refund.
